Vic: Most Grocon workers reject non-union agreement =2
Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) state secretary Martin Kinghamsaid Grocon should now accept its workforce had rejected the non-union agreement.
"I invite (Daniel Grollo) to meet with me tomorrow to work out any lingering issuesthat he may have and to sign up to the industry agreement before Christmas," Mr Kinghamsaid at a news conference.
"It's time for peace between us and looking forward to prosperity all around in the new year."
ACTU secretary Greg Combet also called on Grocon to return to the negotiating table.
He also called on federal Workplace Minister Tony Abbott to stop interfering in thebuilding industry.
