SA: Yorke Peninsula fires up with broadband network
Local residents and businesses on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula can now use the
latest wireless broadband.
Federal Communications Minister STEPHEN CONROY says the broadband service .. using
WiMAX wireless technology .. is a great example of collaboration by all tiers of government
.. the community and the private sector.
It's Australia's first region-wide wireless broadband network.
